We found this place looking for "burgers" online nearby around 7pm. Darker comfortable atmosphere. The lady Server and Bartender was great managing everyone. It was nice evening place. What a delicious find. I didnt know what to expect, but fantastic 3/4 lbs big burgers (swiss and american cheese) with fries and wonderful potato salad. We also had soup of day which was their own custom wedding soup. Real good.

Good food and huge portions at a great price. Friendly staff and family owned/operated. Mostly filled with locals any given night of the week. Like a Florida version of Cheers. Everybody knows everybody. Can't pick a bad item off the menu. Everything is fresh and made to order.

This was our first time dining at Alex Place. This is a relaxed atmosphere with a full bar and dining. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! We had the daily special which was BBQ Ribs. The portions were huge. With the entre that good, I wished I had saved room to try some dessert. There is always next time. The menu selection is on the small side. But I will take quality over quantity any day.

Loved this place. The food was excellent. It's a small dark place. Non smoking. I probably wouldn't go here for a night of drinking but will definitely be back for the food and atmosphere. My server was attentive and very friendly. I will definitely be back.
